Fort Collins, CO — As part of
a yearlong celebration of Dohn Construction’s 30th Anniversary, Dohn
has announced that it has made a $30,000
in donations to local Food Banks.
$10,000 was donated to three Colorado Food Banks: Food Bank for Larimer
County, Food Bank of the Rockies, and Weld Food Bank.
Last week
Dohn Construction team members had the opportunity to visit each food bank and
learn about their operations and how their presence impacts the communities in
which they serve.
“Dohn is
committed to giving back; we believe that giving back to the communities where
we work and live is a way of showing gratitude to the communities that have
supported us,” said Connie Dohn, CFO, Dohn Construction “Hopefully this will make an impact to
families in need and help our community grow stronger.”
Dohn
Construction’s values align with all three foodbanks overarching mission of
believing no one should be hungry, engaging community in the fight against
hunger and providing food to all in and making a difference now and in the
future.
“Doug and
Connie have been actively involved in shaping the way we serve our community,
and this generous gift is another example of their dedication to the fight
against hunger in Larimer County,” said Amy Pezzani, CEO, Food Bank for Larimer
County. “We’ve been extremely grateful to have Dohn Construction’s continued
support. All of it makes a difference. This donation will allow us to provide

“With this
incredible donation the Weld Food Bank will be able to provide 30,000 meals to
our neighbors struggling to put food on the table.” Said Bob O’Connor, CEO

“We are grateful that Dohn Construction has included Food Bank of the
Rockies’ in their 30th
anniversary celebration. Dohn Construction’s gift will provide the equivalent

address one of those challenges.” Said Jennifer Lackey, Chief Development
